Are you a Sun City West resident and have a dog or dogs or just love dogs. Sun City West Recreation Centers offer two dog parks where you can spend time with other residents and their dogs who share that love. Both parks are open to Club Members and their accompanied guests. Join us!
Canine Companions Club has worked with the Recreation Center to build two dog parks that include the following supplies and services:
- water dishes and cleaning supplies
- organizing clean up days for the large park
- additional ‘poop bag’ containers located throughout the parks
- a website through the SCW Recreation Center containing updated helpful links for your pet
- a club membership directory e-mailed to all members
- The Club works with local rescues and authorities when fosters are needed and helps to find missing/lost pets
- the Club invites guest speakers on a variety of subjects to our General Meetings
- we have fun with our pets and at our meetings
General Meetings:
- provide an opportunity for Members to discuss current and/or potential problems
- suggest solutions and/or changes
- offer a chance to meet and socialize with other Members that share love for their pets
General Meetings include dinner or snacks and may include a guest speaker
